Dr. E. Suresh Paul is a teacher with more than 35 years of academic experience. Besides his Doctorate in Communication, his Post Graduation in Political Science, and his various diplomas in Film Studies and Folklore made him a completely versatile academician. He was the head of the Department of Visual Communication, Media Arts, and BMM Animation at Loyola College Chennai, where he served for over 30 years. He has been instrumental in developing the Department. He also worked in news magazines as an editor and feature writer.

He conducted several seminars and workshops in the field of Communication, Journalism, Art, and Film. He has written books and articles on communication and society. He is also a member of many boards of studies at several universities
