Ms. Valli Sri Subrahmanheswari (VTU23626), ECE student of 2022-2026 batch, School of Electrical and Communication has been selected to receive the 2024 IEEE System Council Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship amount of 5000 USD (Rs. 4,16,855). She has proved her academic excellence by scoring 9.7 CGPA. In her professional growth at IEEE, she served as a vice-chair of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Student Branch Chapter, Vel Tech for the calendar year 2024. |

The 2022-2024 Batch ECE student, Y. Venkat Sai (VTU23741), has been selected to receive the prestigious Richard E. Merwin Scholarship Award worth 1,000 USD (Rs. 85,059/-) for the Fall 2024 season, presented by the IEEE Computer Society. This recognition is awarded for his active volunteering in IEEE professional activities, exceptional academic performance with CGPA: 9.55, and significant contributions to academic excellence. |

T. Mohith Nag (VTU21000), a IV-Year ECE student, serves as the Student Chair of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Student Branch Chapter at Vel Tech. Under his leadership, the IEEE ComSoc Student Branch Chapter has successfully received a funding grant of 350 USD (Rs. 29,770) in recognition of its efforts in student membership growth and retention. Mohith has been actively involved in IEEE professional activities, volunteered for various events, and contributed significantly to the chapter’s development and growth. |

Ms. Tekimudi Sri Sai Lakshmi Revathi (VTU21287), 2021-2025 batch student of the ECE Department, has been selected to receive the 2024 IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Scholarship. This scholarship includes a financial stipend of 1,000 USD (approximately Rs. 84,000), a certificate of recognition, and a complimentary one-year IEEE SPS membership in recognition of her academic excellence (CGPA: 9.27) and active involvement in IEEE activities. She also serves as the Student Chair of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Branch Chapter of Vel Tech for the calendar year 2024. |
