How You Can Participate in NSS:

To participate under the National Service Scheme (NSS), students must undergo a structured selection process to evaluate their interest, social awareness, and commitment towards community service.

  1. Entrance Examination (30 Marks)

Students are required to write an entrance examination for 30 marks.

    • Questions will be based on social service, awareness of societal problems, and current social issues.
    • Some questions will assess the student’s perspective, opinions, and problem-solving approach toward real-life social challenges.
  2. Minimum Qualifying Marks

    • Students must secure at least 20 out of 30 marks to qualify.
  3. Final Selection

    • Candidates who score 20 marks or above will be selected as NSS volunteers.

This process ensures that selected students are socially aware, responsible, and genuinely interested in serving the community.
