Club Description:

The Photographic Club of Veltech Dr.rr & Dr.sr Technical University is One of the Active Clubs of the Institute. Its the Official Club Concerned With Photography During All Events Held in the College. It is Also Responsible for Conducting Various Exhibitions to Bring to Attention the Wonderful Works by Our Amateur Student Photographers as Well as Some Experienced Ones, and Also Makes Sure That These Works Get the Deserved Appraisal.

This is a Beginning Level Photo Club That Will Introduce the Fundamental Skills in Photography Mechanics While Exploring the Possibility of the Photograph as Visual Language. Students Will Be Encouraged in This Field and a Photo Journal Where a Online Record of Their Research, Developing Creative Thinking, and Problem Solving Will Be Kept. in This Club You Will Learn Together the Mechanics of Your Camera, Camera Techniques, and Experience Creativity With Photography and Composition

The 2014 Veltech Photography Contest is Open to All Photographers at Least 18 Years Old and Student of a Recognised College and University (the Operational Team of Veltech Photography Team and University Students Are Excluded From Participating in Online Contest)

What:

We Are Looking for Original, Striking Images Related to Themes.we Encourage Entries From All Regions, in Both Rural and Urban Settings. Each Photo Submission Must Be Accompanied by a Brief Description, as Well as the Place Where the Photo Was Taken.
Entries Must Be: The Original Work of the Entrant Non-infringing of the Rights of Others Respectful of the Rights, Sensitivities, and Culture of Persons Depicted an Accurate Reflection of the Subject Matter and Scene as It Appeared, Without Alteration (Other Than Standard Optimization, Including Removal of Dust, Cropping, Adjustments to Color and Contrast, Etc.)

File Requirements: Digital Images or Scans of Prints May Be Uploaded. Original Files of Camera-made Digital Photos May Not Exceed Three Megabytes (5 Mb). Cgap Cannot Be Responsible for Lost, Damaged, Late or Misdirected Entries, or for Faulty Uploading Connections, Garbled Transmissions, Unauthorized Intervention, or Technical Malfunctions.

Judging: Judges Will Include Professional Photographers and Photo Editors. Entries Will Be Judged on Originality, Technical Excellence, Composition, Overall Impact, and Artistic Merit and Majorly by Veltech University Students Votes.decisions Made by the Club Are Final.

Winning Entries: Prizes Will Be Awarded as Mentioned. A Selection of Winning Photos May Be Featured on University Website
All Entries May Be Used by Veltech in Printed Publications, on Any Veltech Web Asset, in a Slideshow, or in Any Other Media, and May Be Copied and Displayed in Any Country, Provided That All Uses Are Accompanied by Appropriate Attribution to the Photographer.

Entrants Retain Ownership and All Other Rights to Future Use of Their Photographs. Cgap Holds Copyright to the Collection of Photos That Constitute the Veltech Photo Contest. Veltech Shall Have the Right to Verify, in Its Sole Judgment, Winner Eligibility.
