 The Department possesses highly qualified faculty members from Premier Institutions of
India and abroad such as National Institute of Technology, Central University of Rajasthan,
Central University of Hyderabad, Anna University, Pusan National University. The Faculty
of Biotechnology are working on various frontier research areas of Biotechnology such as
Nanobiotechnology, Metabolic Engineering, Environmental Biotechnology, Biomaterials
Engineering, Interfaces and Nanomaterials.

 Department of Biotechnology is happy to host two International full time Ph.D Ethiopian
Scholars who are employees of the Ethiopian Government for finding solution to
Aflatoxicosis. Department regularly hosts International Professors to handle courses in
cutting edge technologies from premier International Universities such as Orleans University
France and Aarhus University, Denmark.
