Professor and Dean (Research Studies)
Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology mainly focuses and tackling problems from all the scientific disciplines which addresses major social challenges and specialized areas of interest especially endeavor the thrust areas on scientific domain. The Research Centre of Vel Tech has a separate entity which has started functioning since 2009 with a successful history for producing well trained research scholars. In addition to that, the Dean – Research Studies has the responsibility of superintend and controlling the research activities with ethics and etiquette. The research programmes are offered in the areas of Engineering and Technology, Science and Humanities, Management and Law leading to the award of Ph.D. The admission to do the research programmes is made twice a year during summer and winter sessions. All the processes involving for submission of applications has to be done through only on online mode and the admissions of Ph.D. programme is purely based on merit basis.
