Dear Student,

We are pleased to have you as a student at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr.Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology for pursuing B.Tech. degree programme. On behalf of the management, faculty, staff and on my own behalf, we extend our hearty congratulation to you and wholeheartedly welcome you to the 2022-23 academic year.

We cordially invite you to attend the Induction cum Acquaintance (lcA) program arranged for the first year B.Tech. Students for two weeks from August 24, 2022 (Wednesday) onwards. This program will provide a forum for the students to understand the best practices that are followed in the University campus. After the IcA programme gets over, regular classes for the academic year 2022-23, will be conducted in September 2022. Each course shall be conducted for disseminating information and knowledge in an efficient manner. As per the time table, the students shall have a maximum of four sessions every day during a week running from Monday to saturday.

We once again welcome you with a request to effectively utilize the facilities and services provided by the Institution and in the event of requirement of any clarifications, guidance and help, the students shall contact their course handling faculty / mentors / heads of the Department.

Each course shall be conducted through online tool, Microsoft Team, for disseminating information and knowledge in an efficient manner. As per the time table, the students shall have a maximum of four sessions every day during a week running from Monday to Saturday. All the laboratory sessions shall be conducted as soon as the situation comes back to normal and students shall return to campus in a phased manner based on guidelines of competent Government authorities.

Those who require hostel accommodation can reach the campus and get their rooms allotted. The students living with their parents at Chennai can avail University buses for their commutation. We look forward to meeting you on 24th August 2022 and hope to have your sustained interest in the overall development of you and the institute.
