Hostel Rules and Regulations

Students with pre allotment form

  • Parents are advised to collect the Admit card from Regional/City/University Admission office before 09.06.18.by paying the balance fees as mentioned  in the Pre-Allotment slip.
  • Admit card is mandatory to attend the Induction cum Acquaintance(IcA) Program in the university.
  • Our university staff will pick you up from the designated Railway stations/Bus terminus in Chennai.
  • Our staff will explain the Induction cum Acquaintance(IcA) procedure on your way to hostel.
  • If you have not collected Admit Card kindly proceed with the following steps.

(Day Scholar with Pre-allotment)
  • Check-in to the University Prince Hostel (For temporary accommodation) by showing your Pre-Allotment slip.
  • Keep your luggage and get refreshed.
  • Proceed to the University Admission Office
  • Collect your Admit card by paying the balance fees as mentioned in Pre-Allotment slip and complete the hostel booking also.
  • Report to the University at 10:00a.m on June 09th 2018 along with your Admit card.
  • If Admit card is not collected, proceed to the University Admission Office.
  • Pay the balance fees as mentioned in Pre-Allotment slip.
  • Collect your Admit card
  • Make sure that you pay and confirm the hostel room before the due date or else your Pre-booking will be Cancelled automatically.
  • Report to the University at 10.00a.m on June 09th 2018 calling

After Completing Step 1 proceed with Step 2

Step 2
(CSE & IT)(Aero, Auto, Biomedical, Biotech, Civil, ECE, EEE & MECH)
Proceed to Block 4, Ground floor at
Vel Murugan Auditorium
Proceed to Block 7, Ground floor at
Engineering Hive
  • Report to your respective section counter.
  • Submit a xerox copy of the admit card.
  • Parents can note their ward’s mentor details (Mobile no, email id, etc.,)
  • Proceed to the respective section (Classroom) with Parent along with Mentor.
  • Initiate the Induction Procedure with Mentor.(University Rules& Regulations, SMS declaration form, Anti-Ragging Affidavit by student and Anti-Ragging Affidavit by Parent/Guardian).
  • Student can collect the following items from their Mentor. (Academic Kit, Contact Information Card, Academic Regulations (VTU R15) and IcA Program Time Table).

Note for Hostel Students

  • Hostel Students are advised to bring Bed sheets & Pillow covers.
  • Mattress, Pillow, Bucket, Mug and Dining Plate will be provided by the University hostel

Dress Code

BOYS

  • Clean shave and Proper hair cut.
  • Formal Shirts, Casual Shirts, Plain T Shirts and Striped T Shirts (With Collar only)
  • Formal Pants or Normal Jeans(Full length).
  • Formal or Sports Shoes

GIRLS

  • Chudithar, Salwar kameez, kurtas & Normal Jeans.
  • Sleeved top Plain or Striped (Full or Half)
  • Formal footwear.

For parent’s Convenience University buses will be operated from 05:30p.m on wards to Koyambedu bus terminus, Central and Egmore railway stations.
