Programmes

The program follows Outcome Based Education (OBE), which primarily focuses on knowledge, skill and attitude of the graduates. From the academic year 2015-16 onwards, the academic regulation of the program follows Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with academic flexibilities like (i) Course Choice within the program
(ii) Faculty Choice
(iii) Department /School level course choice
(iv) MOOC course choice. Faculty and Industry-Experts from top QS ranking institutes in USA, Germany and Taiwan and reputed organizations delivered one credit courses on contemporary technologies for the students of B.Tech. ECE program. In the program, faculty members have been facilitating students towards collaborative and cooperative learning through Jig-Saw, Think-Pair-Share, Peer Instruction, Mud Card and Flipped Classroom and Problem / Project Based Methods. Since 2018, the program facilitates interested final year students who have completed all courses except project works to undergo nine months internships/project work in industries or International Universities.

M. Tech - Embedded Systems and Technologies

Embedded system play a significant role in various fields such as Automobile industries, Health Sector, Industrial equipment manufacturers, Defense Sector, Robotics and in all Smart & Automation Systems.
M. Tech Embedded Systems and Technologies is a Postgraduate Program that imparts in-depth knowledge on Embedded Systems, Real Time System Design & Verification, Processor Architecture and various Real-life applications.
The overall goal of Embedded Technology is to balance the production costs with development time by integrating several functions on to a single chip to implement an "Environment-to-environment" system. This program prepares the students to apply their acquired knowledge and step into various career opportunities such as Systems Engineer, Embedded Design Engineer, System Analyst, Applications Developer, Firmware Embedded Developer etc. The curriculum exposes the students to specific courses such as Processor Architecture, Software Technology, Real Time Operating System, System on Chip Architecture, Embedded Linux and Device Drivers, IoT, Intelligent Systems and Application Development to address the requirements of a proficient Embedded Engineer.

Ph.D – Electronics and Communication Engineering

PROFESSIONAL BODIES

Academic life’s energy extends out of the classrooms. Many of the groups are extensions of the students‘ academic and career goals, which speaks to their cerebral and intellectual concentration.

Industry Interaction

ECE department has Signed MoUs with various organizations. Our department students take part in In-Plant Trainings, Internships, Consultancy, R&D activities and carryout projects in Industries and various International institutes.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The students are given relevant advice since day one and often train to acquire skills as per their strengths and ambitions. This makes them the suitable candidate

Research

Good research always makes abundant sense. This is indicative of the fact that research is guided by the rules of logic and reasoning. The logical process of induction and deduction are of great value in carrying out pioneering and ground breaking research work that is capable of shaking the very foundations of contemporary knowledge and understanding.
